Resumen original: Lutheran World Relief and the Peace Sanctuary Churches highlighted in this report believe that the key to peace in Colombia is the implementation of national policies based upon lessons learned at a local level. These lessons abound and are almost always taught by regional civil society leaders steeped in the daily reality of their communities. By looking to the Peace Sanctuary Churches and their communities for examples of innovative peace building, and by implementing national policies that reflect their needs and recommendations, Colombia will find a nuanced yet clear national path to peace and reconciliation.
